Thailand is best known for its tropical beaches, lush rainforest, and the laid-back nature of its people.

And while all of that is true, there is a deeper layer to the country you only experience by visiting. Whether it’s the tourist hotspot of Phuket and its beautiful viewpoints or a lesser-known area like Khao Sok, there’s something for everyone here.

Visit Bangkok and take in its skyscrapers, temples, and nearby markets. Head to the north to Chiang Mai, where you can bathe elephants, hike through rainforests, and eat some of Thailand’s most delicious food. Or, head to the south and hop from Phuket (with Big Buddha and its hiking trails) to Koh Samui to Koh Phangan to Koh Tao. The south is known worldwide for its beaches, so enjoy them while you’re here (and even visit some smaller islands, like Koh Yao Yai island). Thailand caters to all interests.

It’s called The Land of Smiles for a reason, and you’ll hear a friendly “Sawasdee, krap/ka” everywhere you go. So brush up on some basic Thai, get your spicy tolerance set, and get ready to hit Thailand.

You’ll be set for an unforgettable trip.
